SERVICE · CUSTOM SOFTWARE & TOOLS

Custom software and internal tools, built around how you actually work.

Seamwire builds custom software and internal tools for mid-size companies: the order desks, dashboards, approval flows and admin panels that replace spreadsheets, email chains and copy-paste. We build new tools from scratch, take over and improve the one you already have, and look after them once they are live, so the tool keeps up with the business instead of holding it back.

SIGNS YOU NEED THIS

  1. 01A spreadsheet runs something the business cannot afford to get wrong.
  2. 02The same information is typed into two or three places every day.
  3. 03An off-the-shelf tool made you change how you work, and the workarounds are piling up.
  4. 04Only one person understands how the current tool works.
  5. 05The tool you have is slow, unsupported, or its original developer has gone.
  6. 06You pay per seat for software your team uses ten per cent of.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. 01

    A 10-day first step

One process or page, mapped with the people who do the work and shown working. You leave with a business case and a dated plan, and keep everything it produced.

  2. 02

    Build in short, visible steps

Working software every week or two on a staging site you can click, with weekly written notes on what moved and what we need from you.

  3. 03

    Launch and hand over

Released carefully, with monitoring switched on, then a handover pack: code, docs, runbooks and a session with your team.

  4. 04

    Look after it

Support, monitoring and improvements on terms agreed in writing before we start, with a named team who knows the work.

WHERE WE DO THIS MOST

QUESTIONS BUYERS ASK

Should we build a custom tool or buy off-the-shelf software?
Buy when the process is standard and the software fits it without workarounds. Build when the process is how you win, when the workarounds cost more each month than a tool would, or when you need several systems to act as one. We will tell you if buying is the better answer.
Can you take over software another agency or developer built?
Yes. We start with a short audit of the code, hosting and data, fix what is fragile, write down how it works, and then improve it step by step. A full rewrite is rarely the right first move.
How do you replace a spreadsheet without disrupting the team?
We copy what the spreadsheet does before we improve it, run the new tool alongside it for a short period, move the data across once both agree, and keep an export so nothing is ever trapped.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do, from the first commit: your repositories, your cloud accounts, your data. There is no licence to us and no lock-in.
Do you look after the tool after launch?
Yes, if you want us to. Support, monitoring and improvements are agreed in writing before we start, with a named team and a response window by severity.
Can the tool use AI?
Where it earns its place: reading documents, drafting replies, spotting anomalies, answering questions about your own data. We will talk you out of AI as readily as into it if a simpler rule does the job.

GUIDES

YOUR FIRST STEP

Start with one process, working in ten days.

Tell us where it slows down. We map it with your team, show it working, and hand you a business case. If the numbers do not work, you keep everything it produced.
