BOOK A 20-MINUTE CALL
SERVICE · WORKFLOW & AI AUTOMATION

Workflow and AI automation for the work nobody should retype.

Seamwire builds workflow and AI automation for mid-size companies. We take the repetitive work your team does between systems (typing invoices into the ERP, copying orders out of emails, chasing approvals, sorting enquiries) and automate it, using AI where a document has to be read or a judgement made, and plain rules where rules are enough. A person stays in the loop for anything that matters, every run is logged, and you own the code and data.

SIGNS YOU NEED THIS

  1. 01People copy details from emails and PDFs into the ERP or CRM by hand.
  2. 02Approvals sit in someone's inbox until somebody chases them.
  3. 03You run a tangle of Zapier zaps nobody fully understands, and some have quietly stopped.
  4. 04Skilled staff spend part of every day on work a rule could do.
  5. 05Retyping errors surface later as a wrong invoice, wrong stock or an unhappy customer.
  6. 06You have tried an AI tool, but it sits beside the work instead of inside it.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. 01

    A 10-day first step

One process or page, mapped with the people who do the work and shown working. You leave with a business case and a dated plan, and keep everything it produced.

  2. 02

    Build in short, visible steps

Working software every week or two on a staging site you can click, with weekly written notes on what moved and what we need from you.

  3. 03

    Launch and hand over

Released carefully, with monitoring switched on, then a handover pack: code, docs, runbooks and a session with your team.

  4. 04

    Look after it

Support, monitoring and improvements on terms agreed in writing before we start, with a named team who knows the work.

WHERE WE DO THIS MOST

QUESTIONS BUYERS ASK

What should we automate first?
Start with work that happens often, follows clear rules and moves information between two systems, such as entering supplier invoices or turning emailed orders into ERP orders. It should be easy for a person to check and cheap to get wrong while everyone learns. The 10-day first step maps one such process with the people who do it, shows the automation working on real examples, and gives you a business case before you commit to more.
Should we use Zapier, Make or n8n, or build something custom?
Use the platforms where they fit: simple, low-volume flows between well-known apps are cheaper on Zapier or Make, and n8n suits teams that want to host their own. Build custom when the flow is core to the business, runs at volume, needs careful error handling, or touches a system with no ready connector. Plenty of companies sensibly run both, and we set up and look after either.
How do you keep a person in the loop?
We agree with you which steps the automation may complete on its own and which need a person. Anything above a value you set, anything the AI is unsure about, and anything going to a customer can wait in a review queue with the source document alongside it. Approving takes one click, every decision is logged, and the thresholds can be loosened as trust is earned or tightened at any time.
Is our data sent to AI models?
Only the data a step needs, and only to a provider you have approved. We use providers' business and API terms, which keep your data out of model training where the provider offers that, and where it matters we run models inside your own Azure, AWS or Google Cloud account. Personal or sensitive fields can be masked before anything leaves your systems, and many steps need no AI at all.
How are the results measured?
We agree the measures in the first step, using your own numbers: how many items are handled, how long each takes by hand today, how often errors happen, and how many items still need a person. The automation logs every run, so volumes, exceptions and time saved sit on a simple dashboard you can check yourself, rather than taking our word for it.
What is RPA, and do we need it?
Robotic process automation (RPA) drives software through its screens, clicking and typing as a person would. It is useful when a system has no API, no database access and no export, but it breaks when the screens change, so we treat it as a last resort. Most work is more reliable through APIs, databases or file exchange, and we will tell you which route each process needs.
What happens when an automation fails?
It says so. Failed steps retry automatically, and anything that still fails goes to a named person with the record, the error and the likely fix. Nothing disappears silently, and the log of every run is kept, so any item can be traced back to the email, file or system it came from.

GUIDES

YOUR FIRST STEP

Start with one process, working in ten days.

Tell us where it slows down. We map it with your team, show it working, and hand you a business case. If the numbers do not work, you keep everything it produced.
